Ok Steve Jobs get it right again yesterday with the iPhone 4. But the big news of the day is the release of LightRoom 3 !
At least, Adobe Lightroom is available to download. I am addicted to Lightroom 2, and I played with the Beta 2, without crossing the line of moving my catalog to it since catalog migration was unsupported in Beta.
Anyway, I will move to the release 3 asap, as it brings a whole bunch of new features anyone using LR2 was waiting for, including :
- Performance enhancement, useful for BIG catalog management and preview
- Support for DSLR video files, bringing LR3 a step closer to a full DAM (Digital Asset Management solution)
- Additional camera control and correction : tethered shooting, lens correction, enhanced RAW format support
- Improved noise reduction and control
